Crashes occurring in the marine environment present unique and complex challenges to the crash investigator. In order to deal with these issues, Crash Tech's investigators possess training and experience in marine operations, waterway rules and laws, navigation, watercraft systems, and the human / watercraft interface.

Can you actually map a watercraft crash scene?
The short answer... absolutely. The mapping of crash scenes that occur on the water is significantly different from mapping crashes that occur on land. However, with the Leica Geo System, Crash Tech's experts can map large scenes out on open water.
