Often times it is critical to a case to know whether or not a vehicle's lights were on during a crash. From determining an objects visibility with headlights, to determining if a vehicle's brake lights were on if they were struck in the rear. Crash Tech's investigators are all school trained to analyze the information that can be gained from a bulb analysis. Furthermore, our staff is equipped with the equipment necessary to conduct these inspections in-house, dramatically cutting down on the amount of time it takes to perform them.
During a lamp analysis, our investigators will consider critical information such as the magnitude of the crash, location of the impact in relationship to the bulb, type of bulb, size of filament, age sag, discoloration, light switch position, hot shock vs. cold shock, and damage to the glass envelope.
