Crash Tech has been dedicated to expanding and growing the Reconstruction industry through the training of police officers and other crash investigation professionals. All of our trainings use the most up to date material and provide a cost-effective and convenient approach to teaching.
Crash Tech has conducted or hosted trainings country wide, and for various groups in the law enforcement, legal, and insurance fields such as the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy, Canton Police Department, Stark Law Enforcement Training Group, Orange Beach Police Department, Agency Sales Academy, Allstate Insurance, West Virginia Insurance Group, and others.

Crash Tech provides a wide range of classes with expertly created curriculums. Schools on our current roster include:
Forensic Mapping
This 3 day, 24 hour class will teach investigators how to properly map and document various scenes using mechanical and electronic methods, including total stations. It also includes basic instruction on importing your measurements into your diagramming software.
Documenting Crash Scenes for Patrol Officers
This 1 day, 8 hour class is designed to teach patrol officers easy and effective methods for measuring and documenting crash scenes and important evidence. It will help them understand how to identify key pieces of evidence and how to document them quickly so that roadways can be reopened in a timely manner.
Basic Crash Investigation
This 1 week, 40 hour class will teach investigators the necessary skills to discover and recognize evidence, document and collect key pieces of evidence, conduct a thorough traffic crash investigation, and prepare your findings for courtroom presentation.
Technical Crash Investigation
This 2 week, 80 hour class builds upon the theories and techniques learned in Crash Tech's Basic Crash Investigation course, and will delve into the advanced concepts of traffic crash investigations.
Crash Reconstruction
This 2 week, 80 hour class finishes out Crash Tech's 3 course Crash Investigation series by assisting you further in understanding vehicle dynamics. You will take part in a more intense study of time/distance calculations, two-dimensional momentum and impact speed calculations using momentum equations.
Courtroom Testimony for Expert Witnesses
This 1 day, 8 hour class will help you prepare to face the rigors of both direct and cross examinations.
From pre-trial deposition testimony through re-direct and re-cross examinations, we will reveal time tested strategies for preparing your case and effective techniques for presenting your testimony in an objective and professional manner.
